Engineered wood floors can be installed on sub-floors like concrete, plywood, and existing hardwood floors. The subfloor should be level and flat for smooth installation. However, it cannot be installed properly on uneven surfaces and floors.

Engineered wood flooring can be installed with two methods; floating method - attached to subfloor with click-lock method or glued with each other. The other glue method is recommended for parquet and herringbone flooring that ensures long-term stability.
